Malsara terms

By using Malsara you agree to these terms.
1. Malsara is confidential
Everything you see on Malsara (profiles, photos, Garden posts, messages and who is a member) is private and only for you to use inside Malsara.
2. Screenshots and the watermark
While Malsara is in testing, you can take screenshots on every screen, so you can show us problems. Keep them private: sections 1, 3 and 4 still apply. Screen protection will be switched back on before Malsara opens to the public, and these terms will be updated then.
Every photo on Malsara carries a malsara.online watermark. The watermark shows no details about you or about the person viewing the photo.
3. No sharing
You must not share, forward, post or show anyone's profile, photos, Garden posts or messages outside Malsara, in any form.
4. Not to be used as proof
You agree not to use anything from Malsara, including screenshots or photos of it, to prove, claim or show anything about another member anywhere.
5. Be respectful and honest
You are 18 or older, you are honest about who you are, and you treat every member with kindness and respect, in keeping with family values. No harassment, hate, scams, or sexual content.
6. Your key details are locked
Once your profile is created, your first and last name, date of birth, birth place, birth time, height and gender are locked. To change one of them, send a change request from Edit profile with a document that proves the change (for example your NIC, passport, birth certificate, divorce papers, medical certificate or horoscope). A Malsara admin reviews it and you are told the result.
Every other detail (for example marital status, religion or profession) can be changed up to 2 times without documents.
7. Verified profiles
You can verify your profile with a government ID (NIC, passport or driving licence) and a selfie. An admin checks that the selfie matches the ID photo and your main profile photo, and that the name and date of birth match your locked details. Verified profiles show a verified badge and are shown to more people.
ID photos, selfies and change-request documents are seen only by the two Malsara admins, are never shown on your profile, and are deleted after the check.
8. Prices and payments
Your first 14 days are free, with no card needed. After that Malsara costs Rs 1,999 a month until you switch on Couple mode with your partner. Once Couple mode is on, Malsara is free for life.
Any member can post an event or an ad. It is shown free to your top 5 matches; showing it to everyone costs Rs 1,999 a month.
On the website, payments are made through PayHere; in the Android app, through Google Play. Subscriptions renew every month until you cancel. Payments are not refundable, except where the law requires a refund. The price and these conditions are shown before you pay.
9. If the rules are broken
Members who break these terms are removed from Malsara and may lose access permanently. Serious cases may be reported to the authorities.
