Child safety standards

Last updated 1 November 2026

Malsara (malsara.online and the Malsara apps for Android and iPhone) is a dating and matrimony service for adults only. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page sets out our standards.

Adults only

Every member must be 18 or older. Members confirm their date of birth when they join, and anyone under 18 is refused. Profiles that look under 18 can be reported, and reported accounts are hidden at once while we review them.

What is not allowed

Any content or behaviour that sexualises, grooms, exploits or endangers a child is banned. This includes sharing, requesting or linking to sexual images of anyone under 18, asking a member to involve a child in any way, and any attempt to contact or meet a minor.

How to report

In the app: open any profile, card, post or chat and tap ⋯ → Report, then choose “Looks under 18” or “Sexual messages or photos”. These reports are treated as serious: the reported person is hidden from everyone immediately, before review.
By email: hello@malsara.online, subject “Child safety”.

What we do

We review every child-safety report as a priority. Accounts found breaching these standards are permanently removed, their phone number and email are blocked from joining again, and the evidence is preserved. We report CSAM and child-exploitation concerns to the relevant authorities, including the Australian Centre to Counter Child Exploitation (ACCCE) and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), and we cooperate with law enforcement.

Compliance

Malsara complies with all applicable child safety laws, including Australia’s Online Safety Act 2021, and with Google Play’s and Apple’s child safety policies.
